In 1903, North F
Street was the continuation of Rose St. into the West Tampa
district. At the original city limit of West Tampa, the
streets don't line up. Today, in the yellow, 11th is Edison,
12th is Delaware, 13th is Gilchrist, 14th is Newport, 15th is
Willow, 16th doesn't exist, 17th Oregon, 18th is S. Dakota but only
further south. Here in the white area it no longer exists
today.
Cedar is State St.,
Pine and North G. Street have become Lemon St, even though they
don't meet up at 15th (Willow). North F and North G existed in
1915, but do not today because they are occupied by Tampa Prep
facilities. In the 1920s when the Cass St. Bridge was built,
Maple & North F became part of the Cass St. right of way and Tampa
Prep school.
