  • At 599 is Ephraim's brother, Aly Hatfield, with his wife and children.

  • At 600 is John Hatfield, another of Aly Hatfield's sons.

  • At 601 is Ephraim and Nancy Hatfield, with their children including Anderson (Anse) at age 20.  Listed after Anderson is his brother, Ellison, who was killed by three McCoy brothers, thus igniting the family feud.  Notice the presence of twins, Smith and Patterson Hatfield, at 5 years old with "twins" notation.

  • At 602 is another son of Ephraim Hatfield--Valentine "Wall" Hatfield and wife Jane with 4 children. This is brother of "Devil Anse".

  • At 603 is James Hatfield.  With a calculated birth year of 1831-32 and birth place Kentucky, he is likely to be the son of George Hatfield (b.1804) who was a son of Ephraim Hatfield 1st (b.1765) by his 2nd wife, Anne McKinney.
